Acceptable stay with notable drawbacks

ineffective radiator damp bed
The location was quite convenient.
The room lacked proper heating, and only a small, ineffective radiator was provided. The bed felt damp and had hair from previous guests. I slept fully clothed. The room also had no cold water.

bathroom mould inconsistent shower
Breakfast was acceptable given the price I paid.
The room felt uncared for. I found mould on the bathroom tiles. The shower temperature was wildly inconsistent, going from scalding hot to freezing cold without warning. I wish there had been more attention to detail.

Surprisingly good experience

comfortable bed clean linen tea facility
The bed was comfortable, and the bed linen and towels were clean. There were tea and coffee facilities, although a spoon for stirring was missing!!! The room did show some wear, but it was overall quite adequate.
Upon arrival, the car park looked uneven and resembled a builders yard. The reception was cold and unmanned later, the bar was closed, and no staff were visible. I found it difficult to locate anyone when needed.
Dining

The breakfast was freshly cooked. I appreciated the decent options.
Rooms
8/10
The room was clean. The bathroom was super clean, which I really valued. The room included basic amenities for a comfortable stay.
Location

Staff were friendly. They seemed interested in my stay. They cooked the breakfast to order, which I appreciated.
