a cosy stay with good touches

the room was warm and inviting (just perfect after a long day). i found a tea and coffee station, lovely, and a very effective warm towel rail. lots of soft towels and good quality soap added comfort to my stay.
the tv in the room was smaller than i had expected, but it didn't detract too much from my time there.

The central location allowed me to explore easily. Free parking outside was super convenient. The bath had plenty of hot water, I appreciated that very much.
The room was tiny and tired. It was a bit of a squeeze! The towel rail had rust and the floor seemed not so clean. There were only three pillows in the room, I needed more.

I popped in for a meal and the pub felt wonderfully super clean. the staff were very cute and friendly, and the music created an uplifting atmosphere. i had the chicken kebab with chips and it tasted delicious. My partner enjoyed the fish and chips, both perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
the initial room offered had a bathroom that seemed a bit unclean and the carpet needed some care, however, this was quickly resolved.

the standard double room featured a very comfy bed that ensured i had a restful night's sleep. the room included practical amenities, such as ample storage for clothes, this.

Breakfast was tasty and table service was provided. It felt lovely. the staff's help was superb as they happily assisted with storing luggage, and this allowed for exploration without encumbrances.
