The parking area accommodated our vehicle without issues. The garden offered a quiet space. Our room faced the back. It was a good size with adequate amenities. Breakfast included many options. The dining rooms added to a pleasant experience. I found the lounges and garden a very nice space (it was great to have a drink after a day of exploring).
The room decor seems a little dated. I think some upgrades could be beneficial.

The hotel is near shops and restaurants. The area is mostly flat. This allows easy access for walkers. The setting of the village is a significant advantage for exploring the area.

The bedroom was quiet because it faced the back of the hotel. The high ceiling added to the spacious feel. Storage space was very adequate for our needs. The room was also warm and comfortable .

fresh herbal smellfriendly receptionist
the room was clean it was a superior double room i noticed a lovely fresh herbal smell when i opened the door the location is excellent shops restaurants and bars are nearby. the receptionists were friendly and helpful i saw one helping at the bar when it was busy i thought that was very efficient.
breakfast service was slow it felt impersonal.

The breakfast was great. Staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel had a good overall feel (I especially liked the decor). The location is perfect for exploring the area.
I noticed the dinner allowance, included in the deal, was easy to exceed if ordering multiple courses. The excess cost was fairly high despite ordering only tap water with the meal. Next time, i'll be more aware of additional costs.

The staff was very efficient and willing to assist with all requests. They were very friendly. I found them responsive and professional.
