the staff were super friendly and helpful. i liked that the hotel was well-managed and organized (that's always a plus!). its proximity to the beach and the town center was quite convenient, too.
there was no hot water, and i only found out i needed to run the sink tap first after i left. also, the curtains were a little dirty in my room. the door lock was old, and i had to lock it manually every time, which i was told was unique to that door (room 25).

simple stay with nice staff
friendly staff reasonable price standard room
the staff i encountered was friendly, it really makes a difference. the room was quite standard but i was kinda surprised for the price paid. i was a bit anxious after reading some earlier reviews, but the rooms were fine, and the staff were helpful.
the shower had mouldy grouting, it was not a good look. also, the water temperature was hard to regulate, it took a very long time to get hot water.

decent space ample parking short stay
the location was good, though up a hill (good exercise!). the room was a nice size and the basic amenities were adequate for a short stay. the hotel offered ample parking for only £10, which i found quite convenient.
i noticed slight marks on the wall, which could benefit from some attention.
