Fisherman's Haunt Hotel is often praised as a convenient base near Christchurch, especially for events at Sopley Mill. The rooms, some situated above the 'oldy-world' charm of the pub, are often described as large and well-furnished, with comfortable king-size beds; plus, some guests have noted the welcome addition of air conditioning. Many appreciate that it's dog-friendly, providing bowls and treats; however, some have found that the heating in their rooms could be improved. With ample parking and a good breakfast included for many, guests find it a reasonable choice for exploring the area.
