The self check in system was acceptable. It worked well.
i used to be a cleaner, and i noticed some missed attention to detail. there was a thick layer of dust on the bathroom door, lips, and corners! that takes only a few minutes to clean. the bed was very uncomfortable.

amazing historical gem!

luxury suitemassive bedpolite staffdelicious breakfast
our luxury suite really blew us away! the room felt enormous, and the bed was massive. the staff acted super polite, always ready with a smile. breakfast, served at the sister hotel derby manor next door, had a fantastic buffet. it included cereal, toast, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, tea, coffee, and a full english. there was also a vegetarian option and other delicious choices cooked to order.
The room got a little stuffy, even with the windows open. A better fan would have been great!
