a lovely little escape

ample parking separate entrance blackout blinds
i found ample parking right at the hotel. our room featured a separate entrance, a great convenience. the blackout blinds (i really needed those!) and curtains worked wonders to keep the room dark. i slept like a log, undisturbed by any outside light or noise.
the shower temperature was a bit temperamental, making it slightly tricky to get the water just right.

shower temperature bathroom light
The hosts offered helpful advice.
I could not regulate the shower temperature. It alternated between hot and icy cold. The bathroom light failed while I showered. It was hardly a quick hop to the train station, actually.

The breakfast was freshly prepared. I enjoyed the full English option. The building had charming decorations , and it felt very clean. The bed was comfortable.
I could not control the shower temperature , the water was either too hot or too cold. The bathroom light turned off while I was showering. The hotel is not near the train station.
