Quiet Stay Near the Forest

The room was nice and quiet because it was in a separate building. I found the cooked breakfast very good. The location is great, perfect for forest activities. I found the staff very pleasant, they handled everything well.
I noticed a very slight limescale build-up on the shower head.

The hotel is in a gorgeous location near the forest. I enjoyed the location. It is perfect for dog walks. Ponies are visible from the window with lots of wildlife to see.

the staff were friendly. a good selection of real ale was available. the pub menu listed many items plus a specials board was also available. friends joined me for a meal and we all thought it excellent.
Breakfast was not great. The scrambled egg was like an omelette.

filthy kettleblack mould
I found some issues . The kettle was filthy, and i noticed a lot of hair in the bath plug. black mould surrounded the doors, which wasn't pleasant. an electric radiator kept the room warm, though it struggled. the food was overpriced in my opinion.
