the building and grounds showcase very nice beauty. staff members like jerry robert and hermione offered great service. tranquil gardens surround a peaceful pond perfect for quiet moments. the outdoor pool was heated providing additional comfort and relaxation.

The architecture is beautiful and grand! i was captivated by the historic architecture. It really blended well with modern comforts. the attention to detail impressed me. The decor was elegant, and the grounds were well-kept, all things that I appreciated. the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed breakfast each morning!
the garden needed flowers, but the lawn was neatly cut.

Deep in the Forest, A Return Trip Planned

The hotel sits deep in the New Forest. Getting there takes a trek, but it is worth it. A room overlooked the forest and wildlife. New Forest shortbread was delicious. The bed was very comfortable.
Pictures advertise one thing but some aspects differ. Expect some areas that need renovating.

The staff was attentive and cute. our room was immaculate. i slept very well. the spa and outdoor swimming pool were excellent. the hotel sits in well-manicured grounds. The restaurants offer a good choice of food. I will definitely return.
the room i booked did not meet the standards of the rest of the hotel, so that was a let down. i hope they improve the rooms to match the quality of the rest of the estate.
