a restful haven

pristine room comfortable beds delicious breakfast reliable taxi

the room was pristine. the beds were really comfortable, i slept soundly (it reminded me of floating!). breakfast was delicious with generous portions. the host helped me locate a dependable local taxi service, useful.

i noticed some traffic noise from the front rooms. the double glazing reduced it, however some loud vehicles were still audible, especially in the evening.

i did not experience breakfast , despite confirming the time at check-in. apparently , there was a mix-up with the host's timing. at least they apologized , though that didn't exactly fill my stomach.

great location for new forest access

forest access helpful host nice shower

i stayed for three nights and found the location perfect. the guest house is next door to the new forest, i could easily explore. my room included a hairdryer and a water bottle. the shower room was nice.

i had a very slight issue with timing for breakfast, there was a mix-up with the host.

the host was very cute and friendly. he also helped me find a local taxi firm , which was really good. he assisted with parking right outside the building.

warm welcome excellent menu

The host gave a warm welcome. The rooms were clean (I always appreciate that). The breakfast menu offered excellent choices.

If one sleeps at the front of the house, some noise from passing traffic is present.
