lovely stay
cheerful welcome lovely location
the staff gave a cheerful welcome upon my arrival. i ate dinner in the hotel every night of my stay because the food was very good. (the local ales were also great!) it is a lovely location for exploring the forest.

i found the food to be of very good quality and the portions were generous. the dining area was clean, with tables well-spaced to allow for privacy and comfortable movement and all were neatly arranged.

my room included fresh towels daily. the room was clean with windows that could open for fresh air. the shower included shower gel and hand soap, alongside tea and coffee making facilities.

adequate stay with some issues
cramped room small double bed
the location proved excellent because it suited my travel plans well.
the room assigned to me was cramped. the double bed felt quite small. it really should have been advertised as a single room, not a double. there was not enough space for comfort.

wonderful and accommodating
friendly staff clean room quiet atmosphere
the staff was very accommodating and friendly. the room was very airy and clean. it had everything we needed. the room was quiet and this helped me get a good night's sleep
i was cold in the room during the night.

the breakfast selection was good, especially when i asked about it. fresh fruit and yogurt was available in addition to the cooked breakfast. i enjoyed tasty local sausages and bacon.

adequate stay with some drawbacks
unreliable internet mediocre meal
the location was central and convenient for exploring the surrounding area this was acceptable
the internet access was unreliable i contacted staff about this but there was no resolution the meal i ordered was not excellent i paid a rate comparable to other establishments nearby
