The free parking was convenient.
The room required significant improvements. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling in the bathroom. The carpets had noticeable stains.

tea coffee selection bottled water plug sockets breakfast butter hot water usb socket
the room had a good selection of tea and coffee. bottled water was replaced daily. plug sockets were plentiful. the location is beautiful with excellent views.
the hotel had no butter for breakfast and i do not eat margarine. there was no hot water the first day, so i showered in the swimming pool area. i needed usb sockets in the room.

The breakfast was okay. They had a decent selection of cereals.
The room seemed rather tired. I found several stains on the carpet, and the bathroom tiles had some visible mildew. The television remote was missing (seriously!). I had to call reception to get a replacement.

The location was convenient to visit nearby attractions. I liked the gardens. They were relaxing. The on-site parking was free and plentiful. The swimming pool was available for a refreshing dip during the day.
The room felt dated. Furniture showed visible wear and tear. It could benefit from some refurbishment. I also noticed the bathroom had some signs of age.

a mixed experience

friendly staff great location stained carpets tiny tv
the location was great being in the middle of the new forest. the staff was friendly and were really good too help me. i enjoyed the pool . it was a good way to relax after a day of exploring.
the room was a bit basic for the price i payed. the carpets had stains, and the tv was tiny. i also thought the noise from the party went on until the early hours.
