I really loved this hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful . One staff member gladly helped me with my suitcase to my room. The bed were comfortable for a restful night. The restaurant and bar were beautiful.
The breakfast was OK but not amazing. I found no real problems.

lovely stay
attentive service modern look great breakfast
the staff are amazing, i was greeted wonderfully each morning. the refurbishments have made a big difference, i liked the fresh look (very modern). the breakfast was great, with attentive service.
i noticed some improvements are needed regarding soundproofing in rooms. i could sometimes hear conversations from adjacent rooms, which affected sleep quality.

plug-in heater cold feeling
the location was a short walk to the downtown area
the room lacked character there was only a plug-in heater and i couldn't figure out how to make it work also it felt cold inside i was quite frustrated

comfy duvet super clean room stone cold plates tepid turkey
the room was clean and super clean , and the bed and duvet were super comfy. the hotel is well decorated , i thought.
the gala christmas dinner was served on stone cold plates , i noticed two slabs of tepid turkey atop soggy roast potatoes. the buffet offered few options , i saw mainly lettuce and minimal cold cuts.

the room included complimentary biscuits and tea. the shower was powerful. i noticed the hotel had a well kept garden area with seating.
