Reliable Stay Near the Sea

I stayed in February. The hotel is undergoing improvements. The staff were polite and upgraded my room unexpectedly. Buffet food was plentiful, we had everything we needed at the restaurant.
The floors creaked loudly, and the lift felt a bit shaky though it was still functional.

The hotel's location is convenient for reaching the beach and the town center. It's a fifteen-minute walk to the seafront. Access to the beach is available via a zig-zag path, BUT the climb back up is strenuous. The hotel offers good value.

Dinner and breakfast choices were excellent with quick table service by the team. The bar is arguably the nicest part of the hotel, with some money put into it. Drinks were reasonably priced at the bar, handy.

The reception operates 24 hours, ensuring safety and assistance at all times, and all the staff were very polite. A male receptionist with glasses WAS great! Maria at reception was very patient finding a perfect room for me.

The room decor was fine, very different from the norm, giving it real character, and the room was clean. A twin room offered plenty of space and storage. Hot water for the bath and shower needed some adjustment.

Convenient stay near the seafront

The hotel is very close to the beach. Just a short walk. I appreciated the friendly and helpful reception team. They were always available for assistance. The room was tidy. I found it clean upon arrival with fresh towels provided daily.
I noticed that some areas could use a little updating, but it didn't significantly affect my stay.

the pillows were far too hard. this impacted my sleep quality negatively. i also found only one electrical outlet near the television, inconvenient.
