heated pool continental selection georgian dining
The breakfast featured a nice Georgian dining room and a great continental selection. Hot food was very tasty. I recommend the poached eggs. The heated pool, hot tub, and sauna provided extra touches. I spent a couple of hours by the pool reading a book.

the breakfast included a good selection of items and the dining room was quite lovely.
the room was not what i expected. it felt quite dated and not as clean as i would have liked it. there were cobwebs in the corners of the room and the terrace had cigarette butts left over from previous guests

the breakfast had plenty of choice.
I had to report no hot water in the bathroom over three consecutive days. This took the edge off the stay.

Charming Stay with Good Breakfast

building character heated pool quality ingredients
I found the building had real character. It reminded me of visiting a relative's home. The outdoor facilities impressed me greatly, especially the heated pool. Breakfast stood out. It included high-quality ingredients served elegantly. I liked the room amenities, like the complimentary water bottles.
I noticed the room lacked a path across the garden, causing me to walk across the wet grass from the carpark.
Location
9/10
The hotel is tucked away off the main roads, which gave a relaxing atmosphere. The building is set in a quiet area with mature trees and pretty planting. I saw local farmland and traditional village homes nearby.
Service
9/10
I found the staff friendly and helpful . The owner was informative about the house's history and grounds. I easily reached the staff by text and they were responsive to my needs.
Rooms
8/10
The room was modern and thoughtfully decorated with individual flair. Soft linens rivaled those of luxury hotels. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, with generously sized bath towels.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel has a heated pool and a well-kept jacuzzi. I appreciated having space to explore the extensive gardens. There is art installations and mature trees to discover.

charming stay

mature tree pretty planting warm pool soft linen
we stayed two nights. The gardens have mature trees and pretty planting.. The pool area included a warm pool with a jacuzzi. I found the pavilion rooms modern and well-decorated with flair. The room was spotlessly clean with soft linens.
the room was good, but the furniture on the balcony was a little rusty.
Dining
9/10
breakfast was served on silver platters with antique tea sets. The food included fresh ingredients and thoughtful touches. I especially liked the mushrooms, and the crepes made for the children were a hit.
