excellent parkingfriendly staffcigarette smellbed comfort
The parking was EXCELLENT. I never had any trouble finding a spot. the room included a fridge, very useful for keeping drinks cold. i also liked the garden centre, it was a short drive away and had a lovely cafe. The staff at the cafe seemed friendly.
The bed did not have much comfort and it was a huge let down. i also smelled stale cigarettes in our room and this is a non-smoking hotel.

The checking in system worked smoothly, as I arrived late and easily got my keys using a texted code. My room had a portable air con unit, a GREAT addition considering the VERY hot weather. I found plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits available in the room.
The bathroom floor had two big cracked tiles. They were noticeable and potentially dangerous. The bathroom light was not bright enough, and this made the bathroom quite dark. some doors banged throughout the night, and this kept me awake.

the communal kitchen area include a kettle and microwave and allowed us to prepare our breakfast.
the sofa in the apartment was very uncomfortable. there were no blinds in the bathroom, so it was like you are on show when it is dark. the shower head did not reach the holder, so i had to hold it.
