i liked the fresh milk provided in the fridge. the cooked choices at breakfast were beyond the 'full english'. there were sufficient parking places for each room, i appreciated the location near pubs, shops, and the train station.
i could hear guests upstairs talking and the shower didn't work until i fixed it.

the building presents an attractive period design. a downstairs room offers a cosy and atmospheric setting. the hotel also provides sufficient parking spaces, this ensures convenience for all guests who travel with their own vehicles.

The location was excellent for exploring the area.
I was disappointed the gin tasting mentioned online was unavailable. Staff did not mention it despite me asking about the bar. My wine left in the room was thrown away after I planned to finish it the next day. This felt wasteful and inconsiderate. I also found the multiple requests for payment of my extra night booked direct to be quite odd.

location was good. it was within walking distance of some pubs.
our room was not very clean. there were cobwebs and the fan was full of dust. the decor seemed quite tired. ceilings also seemed paper thin. i heard noises from upstairs.
