Wonderful Experience!

friendly staff clean room good value
The staff was friendly and helpful, which I appreciated very much. The room was warm, tidy and clean. All the amenities in my room were in good working order, I was very impressed. I think it was great value for money overall, I would highly recommend it.
The furniture seemed a bit old and outdated, in my opinion. The mattress was very old and worn out. It was uncomfortable, I could not sleep well.

an okay stay with some issues

broken rail failing catch
The bathroom needed more attention. the shower cubicle had a broken top rail. this made the door difficult to close. i also noticed the bathroom door didn't stay shut. The catch failed, so it faced the room entry. i found that annoying.

I noticed that some areas looked a bit dated. The lift was also quite small.

The location was close to many things I had planned. Free parking existed.
The hotel info suggested there was a restaurant (i was excited about that). I booked room only, but this was never offered upon arrival. The hotel had a bar, however it was never open.

convenient and comfortable stay

ideal location free parking
i found the location to be ideal with a short walk to the train and coach station. the beach and cliffs were also easily accessible. the free parking available was a definite plus. the room i stayed in was generously sized and well-kept.
the lift was quite small. it barely accommodated two people with luggage.
