really good stay, a true gem!

clean room great staff amazing food
I found this hotel wonderful. the rooms were beautifully appointed and immaculately cleaned. the staff was great. i enjoyed all the breakfast options. The food was amazing!!!
I noticed that parking wasn't great. There's not much room out of the front of the hotel.

adequate stay with SOME ISSUES

bathroom privacy convector heaters
My stay experienced a few notable shortcomings. the bathroom lacked privacy because of a poorly designed glass door. staff offered excuses about the heating system instead of addressing the problem. THEY said it was turned off due to other guests' complaints, which left my room feeling uncomfortably cold. two pathetic convector heaters did little to improve the situation.

faulty cold tap raised step
i was a little disappointed . the cold tap in my room did not work, so i could not use the sink. there was also a raised step around the bed. it was difficult to see this in the dark, and i stubbed my toe a couple of times. breakfast was also not great. there seemed to be few staff members and many guests, so there were delays and missing cutlery.

bathroom hairs limescale kettle
i found some issues with cleanliness. the bathroom had hairs from previous guests. the kettle was dusty and filled with limescale. reception promised to pass my concerns to the manager but i never received a follow up

The hotel was beautifully presented I thought. I appreciated the convenient car parking and polite staff. The room felt relaxing and lovely decorated. The reception staff was friendly I noticed.
I found the breakfast pretty terrible. We had to book a time slot I remember. I thought that they would make sure they have food for us. There wasn't pastries left and the waitress told me it would take a while to get some more she said.

i was given a premium room with beautiful furnishings i found the bathroom to be large including a relaxing garden tub the reception lady was very lovely and quite helpful it was modern decor and nicely decorated. the bed was nice and neat.

the room was spacious. the bathroom had a good layout. breakfast included smoked salmon and scrambled egg.
